As well as a beautiful home and being part of a vibrant, friendly community, moving to Lynwood Village means you can access the optional, flexible care and support provided by our onsite Care and Support team.
Independent living with support
You can live independently in your own home for longer if you can access support when you need it. With staff present 24 hours a day at Lynwood Village there is always someone to call in an emergency and our Care and Support team can provide ongoing support if needed.
Onsite Care and Support team
Whether you need a short burst of help while you recover from an illness or operation, or longer-term support to help you stay in your own home, our Care and Support team is on hand to help. Even if no care is needed at the outset, our Care and Support team is always on hand to discuss care options and explain what to do if you feel you might need additional support such as care in your home. Our team of fully trained professionals can assess your individual needs and develop a tailored package of care just for you. The Care and Support service at Lynwood Village is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and we have a Good rating. From companionship, attending medical appointments and taking you shopping to managing medication and personal care, our professional, trained care team can provide the help you need to stay living in your own home.

Help is at hand
If emergency assistance is needed, owners at Lynwood can activate their pendant or bracelet or use the pull cords in their home. Knowing help is always at hand gives owners, and their families, peace of mind. On a day to day basis there are always people around to help when problems arise and just knowing that help is close by should you need it is very reassuring. CCTV throughout the village and night security staff who are on patrol throughout the night also help owners feel safe and secure in their own homes. If owners go on holiday they can lock up and leave knowing their home is secure.
Lynwood Care Centre
This superb, purpose-built care centre is located on the Lynwood site and provides specialist dementia care, residential and nursing care. If you or your partner’s care needs change and you think you might benefit from a temporary respite stay or a permanent move to the care centre, the care centre team will meet with you to assess your needs.
Lynwood Care Centre is well-respected with a CQC Good rating and high occupancy levels. Depending on your care needs and how best to meet them, we may be able to facilitate a transition to the care centre (subject to space and the right type of care being available).
