Who we support

We’re located within Lynwood Village in Sunninghill, Ascot, and are open to everyone — village owners, residents of the on-site care centre and the wider public. Our team has particular expertise in supporting older adults, including those recovering from surgery or illness, needing help in managing long-term conditions, or simply looking to maintain independence and quality of life.

Physiotherapy

Our physiotherapists use evidence-based techniques to restore movement, build strength, and reduce pain. Treatment may include manual therapy, exercise prescription, balance training, gait re-education, and advice on pacing and posture.

Benefits of physiotherapy

  • Improved mobility and balance: Reduces fall risk and supports confident day-to-day movement.
  • Targeted pain reduction: Helps manage back, neck, joint, and muscular pain through tailored exercises and hands-on care.
  • Faster recovery: Aids healing after operations, fractures, and short-term illness.
  • Stronger muscles and joints: Builds resilience to support independence and activity.
  • Better function in daily life: Focuses on what matters to you — climbing stairs, walking further, or returning to hobbies.

Acupuncture

We offer medical acupuncture as part of an integrated treatment plan. It can be used alongside physiotherapy to help modulate pain, reduce muscle tension, and support relaxation and sleep.

Benefits of acupuncture

  • Pain modulation: Supports the body’s natural pain-relief mechanisms for chronic and acute pain.
  • Reduced muscle tension: Eases tightness and trigger points that limit movement.
  • Improved sleep and relaxation: Can help calm the nervous system and reduce stress.
  • Adjunct to rehab: Enhances the effects of exercise and manual therapy when used together.

Aquatherapy hydropool

Our aquatherapy (hydrotherapy) uses warm-water exercise to gently improve strength, mobility, and circulation with reduced load on joints. It’s ideal for those who find land-based exercise challenging.

Benefits of aquatherapy

  • Joint-friendly exercise: Buoyancy reduces impact and strain on painful joints.
  • Improved flexibility and strength: Water resistance builds muscle in a controlled, comfortable way.
  • Enhanced balance and confidence: Safe environment to practice gait and stability.
  • Warmth and circulation: The water’s warmth can ease stiffness and support relaxation.
