The 93-bed Lynwood Care Centre, which opened in May of this year, provides residential nursing care, specialist staged dementia care
and respite care, as well as tailored rehabilitation for people of all ages. The seven interconnecting houses provide a state of the art
care centre designed to enable the highly trained, multidisciplinary care teams to deliver the highest possible standard of care. All
residents have their own private room with ensuite wet room, access to secure outside space and large shared open plan living areas with a
kitchen they can use whenever they like.

A dedicated onsite physiotherapy practice works with residents to optimise their physical condition, treat injuries, rehabilitate and
mitigate the effects of progressive conditions such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, dementia and Motor Neurone Disease.
Lynwood Care Centre adjoins Lynwood Village and residents and their visitors can use the village facilities, which makes visiting
a more varied and enjoyable experience.

BEN and Lynwood Village Chief Executive, David Main, showed Princess Alexandra around the care centre, “It was an honour to welcome
Her Royal Highness to Lynwood today. Her Royal Highness spent a great deal of time talking to our residents, making it a truly special
day for them. We are very grateful for Princess Alexandra’s continued support of BEN, she has been a wonderful Patron for many years.”
